Charlton Freehold Presbyterian Church has been serving the community since 1786 and the current building has been in use since 1853.  Our church is a member of Albany Presbytery and affiliated with the denomination of the Presbyterian Church in the United States of America (PCUSA).  We are a congregation of faithful believers whose membership is drawn from the surrounding communities.  Our mission is to be the family of God as brothers and sisters of Jesus Christ.  As Christ did, we strive to make disciples one at a time and to nurture faith in ourselves and others by our words and actions.  We are known for our hospitality, fueled by our belief that grace is a gift from God to be shared with others, so that all people might experience joy and purpose in their daily living.
